Chronic sinusitis.
Chronic sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses that lasts longer than three months, and sinusitis can also be considered chronic if sinus symptoms are repeated three times a year. It can also be classified into chronic sinusitis with or without the presence of adenoids, fungal or allergic sinusitis, and can occur as a result of a defect in the structure of the nose.
The most common cause of chronic sinusitis-according to specialists - is the inappropriate treatment of acute sinusitis, and since the diagnosis and treatment of acute sinusitis has improved a lot, chronic sinusitis has become less common than in the past.
Recurrent sinusitis.
Recurrent sinusitis occurs as a result of exposure to several attacks of sinusitis per year.
